2020 TOWNSHIP PROPERTY TAX INFORMATION
The 2020 Township property tax discount period will be extended through August 31, 2020. The 2020 Township property tax penalty period will be eliminated through December 31, 2020. From September 1 through December 31 Township property taxes will be collected at Face.
COVID-19 STATEMENT
FROM SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
Effective March 19, 2020, the Sewickley Township Municipal Building is closed to the public. However, we are still continuing operations to serve the residents of our township.

COVID-19 Emergency Declaration Sewickley Township ExtensionAttention Residents, Neighbors, Visitors, Associations, Organizations and other people who have an interest in Sewickley Township … The Board of Supervisors of the Township of Sewickley, with their utmost regard for the health and wellness of our community hereby issue the following directive.
Sewickley Township is EXTENDING the cease of all activities, gatherings, and events within the community that are affiliated with Sewickley Township due to the COVID-19 virus. This decision will last until 9:00am on Monday, April 13, 2020. These events would include any and all events/gatherings/functions scheduled at the Sewickley Township Recreation Center, as well as the Crabapple Park and Pool Complex. Anyone who paid to use the Township Recreation center during this period of time will be issued a full or pro-rated refund. This also includes all Sewickley Area Athletic Association and Yough Area Midget Football activities scheduled for Crabapple. The Board of Supervisors will assess the situation over the next two weeks and then decide if any additional cancellations will need to be posted.
In regard to Township business and scheduled meetings, the Sewickley Township Municipal Building is closed to the public. However, we are still continuing operations to serve the residents of our Township. The Office Staff is available by phone at 724.446.7202 or through our website, www.sewickleytownship.org. All correspondences and interactions are to be by phone or electronic means. All scheduled public meetings are still planned to be conducted at this time. However, these meetings will be conducted in the Township Garage so that people can spread out and not be confined to the limited space in the formal meeting room.
Going forward, the Supervisors will continue to follow the direction of local Emergency Management, County, State and Federal officials as well as the CDC and act accordingly.
All of these measures are being taken with the health and wellness of our residents being put first. Fortunately, there are no reported cases of COVID-19 currently in the Township. And by stressing the importance of good hygiene, washing your hands, and practicing social distancing, we hope to keep our community free of this virus. We all certainly apologize for any inconveniences that these directives have caused, but please know the best interest of our community is the driving force behind these difficult decisions. Thank you all for your patience and cooperation during these difficult times.

The Sewickley Township Board of Supervisors meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Meetings take place at the Sewickley Township Municipal Building on 2288 Mars Hill Road, Irwin 15642 at 7:00pm.

Position Summary
Responsible to the Parks and Recreation Director, Sewickley Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania for Fitness Instructor position. Essential Functions
