Notice of 2023 Scheduled Meetings
Public notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Sewickley, County of Westmoreland and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, shall hold its regular meetings for the calendar year 2023 at 6:00pm on the following dates: January 18th, February 15th, March 15th, April 19th, May 17th, June 21st, July 19th, August 16th, September 20th, October 18th, November 15th, and December 20th.

The Sewickley Township Planning Commission is seeking a new member. The Sewickley Township Planning Commission serves as a volunteer advisory panel that reviews proposed land development plans and subdivisions submitted by residents and developers in Sewickley Township. The Planning Commission is the recommending body to the Board of Supervisors for these plans. Members of the Planning Commission are appointed to a four-year term.

The Lions meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month in the Sewickley Area Library.
***The Sewickley Area Lions Club was chartered on April 22, 1948***
The Lions’ programs include:
The Lion’s Club is dedicated to the common cause of service to others.
Since it was formed, the Lions opened Crabapple Park in 1956 and then Crabapple Pool in 1961.
In 2008, a donation was made to the Sewickley Area Library Trust.
The Lions also support the youth in the area by promoting athletics and are responsible for sending students to the annual district youth seminar/talent show.
The Lions Club sells brooms and collects used eyeglasses at local businesses.
We are always looking for new members that are community oriented and looking to make a difference.
